It has challenged me to do more than just say, "Hmm. Interesting."&lt;br /&gt;His point is stated by Elder Holland who says: "Even the Savior's sermons and exhortations were to no avail if the actual lives of his disciples did not change." Nephi proclaimed that the Lord would not ask him to do anything without preparing a way for him to accomplish the assignment; therefore, what? (What does that say to me?) The Savior visited the Nephites; therefore, what? Moroni buried the gold plates; therefore, what? Thomas Monson is a prophet; therefore, what?
